19 Jun Fencing and new front gate. In Tirley, Gloucestershire.
On this job we were asked to fit a new front gate as the existing one was starting to rot. The customers also asked us to build the brick pillars up so that we could fit a larger gate for some extra privacy as the front garden could be seen from the road. We made the gate from pressure treated softwood that is designed for external use so it will be very durable against the elements. As it is pressure treated it doesn’t require any further treatment to protect it.
We put the picket fencing in place in order to stop the customers dogs from getting into the front garden, again the fencing was made using pressure treated timbers for long lasting durability and the fence posts have been dug into the ground and concreted in place making the fence very sturdy.
